What you've said actually confirms a niggling suspicion I've had... you actually DO come across as an ironic cynical bastige sometimes, IMHO. I had assumed it was a translation issue as well. If I just read a few of your posts, I might describe you as "cool" or even "disinterested" at times. However, if I put them all in context over time, I can infer that this impression isn't right.

Maybe this is because as a whole, it's the stories one remembers. The actual words are forgotten in a day or two unless they strike some chord.
