For a long time my gym (only gay male gym in London) had no facilities for keeping stuff at the gym. About 6 years ago they bought small cubbyhole lockers and sold them at GBP 25 per quarter. I just added the money to my standing order and have had a place to put my toiletries bag, flip-flops, spare workout clothing and towels (I can fit three sets into it), trainers, and the like. Has been a lifesaver. All I have to shlep back and forth is my workout clothing and towels.
