1. For a certain Travelling Celestial Body:

My friend Joseph, who was always full of surreal advice, once swore to me I should get a meth tweaker to clean my house, since s/he would be so obsessed s/he would manicure the plants. Naive as I was at the time, the advice struck me as a little unworkable, but I didn't know why and he seemed terribly convincing. Now that I know better, I can definatly foresee dependalibity problems with TinaMaids Housecleaning Service Inc.

2. I detest moving. They say a friend will help you move, a good friend will help you move the body. Well, I will be a great friend, but such a lousy normal friend I will probably die alone. I never help anymore. I even, through sheer luck, managed to avoid two of my own moves (sorry [livejournal.com profile] pinkfish) by taking a trip planned months in advance just as we had to move.

What I do do is interior decoration during a move. I got to do that last weekend when [livejournal.com profile] danger_chick moved. Everyone else was moving boxes, and I was deciding basic layout and assembling furniture. I liked that. And no, she didn't get a say. Just like the first time when I did it to [livejournal.com profile] slinkr during her move.

3. Symbian C++ programming is a nightmare, and the examples are no help at all. I am so stressed I skipped my workout just to keep working and making some kind of progress. So now I am tense, cramped, and without a metabolic buffer against frustration overeating.

4. [livejournal.com profile] sabin not having anyone to play with reminds me to write, for future refernce, that I am enjoying playing Pandemonium on the N-Gage. I was just allotted that game and Sonic The Hedgehog to just play around with. I should try if playing against another tester over Bluetooth networking works.

I am liking it a bit too much. See point 3. Today I reached for it around 4, when I couldn't take this wall of lousy documentation and impenetrable examples of constrained GUI programming anymore. I should have gone for the iron instead of the game deck.

I had a conceptual breakthrough at the end of the day, but it was already 7.35 PM and I had to be home by 8. I had a cat to inject.
