fjKnowing I would probably want to be platinum blond this summer, and aware that that red is really hard to bleach out totally, I had only the front re-colored red two hairdresser visits ago, and let the rest of the head just be. That part started fading into a hideous orange, and, anticipating some formal work-related trips last week (they didn't happen) and hating that orange, two weeks ago I had Pam cut out all that old red, and keep the maintained front to go well with the red in my tux wear for the wedding.
It was a very short hairstyle.
The red we added front was a little too magenta for me, so I layered a semi-permanent bright red on it last Thursday. The result is that in Chicago I had shiny bright blood-red hair falling over my forehead, visible from half an atrium and an escalator away. Sunday night a guy told me he had been calling me "hellboy" or "devilboy" to himself for the last 3 days.
