The Melrose Place alumns had their first scene together on Desperate Housewives! They even exchanged two lines of dialogue! It only took a whole season!

I thought it would be a running gag they never would.

Come to think of it, these days, how long is one supposed to wait? It could be next year before all those TiVo-ed episodes get watched. What's polite? I think I was rude, and I apologize.

I dunno. I think I usually figure that after three or four days, anybody who hasn't watched an episode probably doesn't have it as high priority. Of course they might have been away or too busy to watch TV, but then they wouldn't have time to read LJ either, would they?

Hey, speaking of TiVO, could I ask you guys a favor? The premiere of 24 is, like last year, a 4-hour extravaganza, so for one night it will conflict with West Wing and Desperate Housewives. Since you guys already tivo both of those, would you be able to dump a copy to VHS for us? It would be this coming Sunday (the 15th?) that the conflict occurs. Just let me know if you'd be able to do this.

There was a rumour last season that they were going to pull their punches on the boy-on-boy issue - you know, Andrew really was just 'experimenting'.

I'm glad to see they thought better of that.

Indeed, I'm impressed and pleasantly surprised by how far they're willing to go along those lines, in prime time on a broadcast network. And with underage characters at that.

Of course, there are hints that Andrew is partly doing it just to piss off his mother, but still, he is doing it, and the fact that his interest in boys predates his rage at his mother is a good sign.
