I did not notice the earthquake. I was in a chunky concrete building 40 miles away, and I had just gone to sleep. The only was I know there was an earthquake was because of email this morning and then the LJ entries.

My brother felt this one and the on 7/31 that was only a 3pt. something, even though he was about 18 miles from it. He's in an older building that's apparently on some bad soil. Swell.

A 4.5 is what I call a "fun" earthquake.
After Seattle's big 6.8 back in 2001, everything else is just a little jiggle.
