This greeting is even more fun when you're calling from the conference center in an attempt to contact the AV staff so someone can come shut down the audio amp that is melting down all over the east wing in a very shrill fashion.

I always tell people to "have a good day" in what my kids call the "phone voice that is just TOO MUCH." Changing the word "good" to "magical" is very tempting in a big silly grin sort of way. Like an earworm, but no music. Brainworm? Wordworm? Whatever you call it, it is now stuck in my head.
