Last week, a Hummer, I believe even an original model H1, driving up on the Whole Foods parking lot, presumably for some organic environmentally-conscious shopping.

A not at all seldom blok of commercials on the radio for: luxury cars, plastic surgery (ask about the twenty-nine ninety-five breast-enlargement special), car superstore, laser dermatology specializing in acne and acne scars, credit counseling, a new exciting baldness treatment with lasers.

I find LA endlessly amusing.

Funny how commercials tell a story of a city: showy cars, showy boobs, shiny skin--but no shiny pate--lead to credit problems.
