DSM is the only one of these that I watch, and while I'll miss it, I won't miss it very much. It was fun in an over-the-top way, but it was over-the-top all the time, and even those characters I thought I might be able to like quickly became unlikeable.
I don't know what channel the things I watch are on, they just magically appear on my TiVo.
Seriously, though, from the "big four" we watch House (for the snarkiness) and Desperate Housewives (for the soap opera). Brian also has a whole bunch of really awful things that he likes to watch, because he has no taste. (Smallville, Supernatural, Gossip Girl, Greek, etc.)
Oh, we still watch The Simpsons too, but I really can't figure out why. It's entertaining, but if it were a new show with the current writing I would ignore it.
I'll miss Daisies -- do you get it there and are you a fan? I wonder/(hope) if they wrote this season's last episode without too many loose ends (much less a cliffhanger), and maybe even a bit of "happily ever after" closure.
I was just reading that the last episode is already done - and it was a cliffhanger. :(
But they want to continue the story in comic book format (like Buffy). Not sure who I feel about that...half the joy of the show is that phenomenal cast!
...and the costumes, and the art direction, and the full-through music, and Jim Dale's narration, and all the camera tricks....
At least we'll have whatever episodes were finished on the eventual DVDs. Although if ABC has some ownership in those, I wouldn't be surprised if they cancel broadcasts of some of the episodes to goose DVD sales.
Pushing Daisies was always too expensive for cable, sadly. I guess I'll have to get my Chenoweth fix by listening to Wicked over and over and over and over at my desk at work.
